The Local Express rapper museum
...is a growing collection of ground-level, physical promotion for the rising talent in the HipHop/Rap, R&B, and Soul spaces. These objects are made with the specific intention of fostering a stronger connection between smaller artists and the places that mean the most to them or have inspired them in some significant way. We are all products of our environment and I feel that providing room for someone to more directly speak about their journey in relation to an important town, city, patch of grass, etc., allows for connections to be made without having to risk being outside during COVID-19. Who knows, you and your next favorite rapper might have a home in common.
If you are an artist and would be interested in getting one of these made for you, simply respond to the questions below while channeling your most authentic self, and DM your responses to @universalhunte on Instagram.
